ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Dr Angelika Rzepka

Angelika Rzepka is a Senior Research Engineer in Digital Health Information Systems at AIT. She works at the intersection of public health and digital health, contributing to research on telehealth, wearables, and data-driven healthcare solutions that support prevention and better care delivery.

Her talk will present the AIT approach to digital health in Austria explaining the national healthcare system and infrastructures.

 

Dr Eamonn Hawe

Eamonn Hawe is the Senior Programme Manager for Bioelectonics and Digital Healthtech at Tyndall National Institute in Ireland. He was awarded his PhD in 2007 and worked in industry for eleven years before joining Tyndall  in early 2018.

Research within Tyndall‘ Bioelectronics and Digital Healthtech Programme is focused on exploiting the extensive design, fabrication and characterisation tools available in Tyndall, together with expertise in modelling, embedded software and systems integration for applications related to health. Dr Hawe’s role involves working closely with academic partners, global leaders in medtech and pharma industries, and clinical experts, to ensure that Tyndall research delivers significant impact in terms of clinical utility and commercial opportunity.
