The Young European Associated Researchers (YEAR) network is happy to present our next online webinar in collaboration with EARTO about  “EARTO and RD&I Policy”, which will be presented by Milan Bertoli and Eleni Dritsakou from EARTO.

In this webinar, we will hear more on what EARTO (European Association of Research and Technology Organisations) is and how they connect with YEAR. Also they will present more on the Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) policies they focus on as EARTO and what has changed with the new EU commission.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Milan Bertoli holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business law from Skema Business School and a master’s degree in International Relations, with a specialisation in Business and International Organisations Management, obtained from HEIP (Hautes Études Internationales et Politiques).

With an experience at the European Affairs of the CEA, the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, he joined EARTO in September 2022, where he leverages his expertise in European RD&I policies to contribute to the association’s objectives

Eleni Dritsakou is Senior Policy Officer at EARTO. Eleni joined the EARTO Team in January 2019. Her current areas of activity cover analysing EU Policies, Programmes and Strategic dossiers for EARTO members (350 Research and Technology Organisations – RTOs), including Multiannual Financial Framework, EU Policy and Programmes linked to RD&I such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EU Industrial Policy, EU Research Area (technology & industrial roadmaps, research/technology infrastructures), etc., as well as the Impact of RD&I. Eleni coordinates EARTO Policy Working Groups, including WG EU RD&I Programmes and WG Impact. Prior to joining EARTO, she worked at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Greek Embassy in Paris (France) among others. Eleni’s academic background covers International and European Studies, with a specialisation in International and European Law and International Relations.
