Workshop: Networking your way into success with Joppe Quaedvlieg
Creating opportunity in a time when simply showing up is not enough to create opportunities.
This is what the workshop is about: How to create opportunity with every conversation you have, find people to collaborate with and create something bigger than you could have done by yourself.
OVERVIEW OF THE TRAINING
You will learn through theory and exercises:
- How to present yourself and your skills.
- How to give Real Life Examples of your skills.
- How to come across as non-threatening by giving before you get & asking what are the ‘others’ challenges.
- How to keep track of your network and follow up.
BIOGRAPHY
Joppe has extensive experience in organizing networking events at ArcticStartup where he activated 120 volunteers & the Burning Man project Steam of Life where he activated a group of 70 people to build a sauna in the desert in Nevada.
With nine years of experience as a sociotherapist in the Netherlands he developed his workshops on networking and communication. When he came to Finland to work in the startup world he created a vast network in Helsinki and an even bigger network to collaborate with in the startup world. His workshops are personal passion project of him to help the people to cope with the challenges they have in ethical communication, growing and activating their network & non violent conflict resolution.
