March 3, 2022, 14:00 – 15:00 CET

YEAR is organizing a webinar showcasing the interesting work that our (young) researchers are doing in different RTOs. This webinar will focus on blockchain technology and show research from SINTEF and TNO. Do you conduct research on blockchain in your RTO? Or are you just curious about the work of fellow young researchers? Come and join our webinar!

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Blockchain for fish supply chain traceability with Guillaume Bour from SINTEF

Guillaume is Security researcher at SINTEF Digital. He is a graduate engineer in Computer Science and Network from INSA Toulouse in France. He also has a master’s in Communication Technology from NTNU in Norway. His main research focuses on critical infrastructures’ security, and embedded devices security. He is involved in several projects using blockchain technologies to solve challenging problems such as traceability and transparency in supply chains.

Electronic Voting with Blockchain with Erik de Graaf from TNO

Erik currently works as a blockchain researcher at the Dutch applied research organization TNO. For five years now, he has been working in various industries with blockchain technologies. These industries include banking, automotive and logistics. He has worked with multiple smart contract platforms, but his main interests are Ethereum and Corda. He is part of a project that aims to digitalize elections using blockchain and privacy-enhancing technologies like zero-knowledge proofs and multi-party computation. The project will result in tamper-proof, fair and ironclad (unquestionable) digital elections.
