WEBINAR OVERVIEW

This webinar is designed especially for early-career researchers interested in the field of 6G communications and its role in European research and innovation landscape. Amritha Rajan (RISE), Muhammad Asad Ullah (VTT), and Anthony Pages (TNO) will share perspectives on emerging 6G technologies from integrated sensing and communication and non-terrestrial networks to large-scale collaborative initiatives driving future wireless innovation in Europe.

We warmly welcome you to join us for this discussion and to engage with fellow early-career researchers from across Europe.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Amritha Rajan

Amritha is a researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and is pursuing her PhD in Electrical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. Her research specializes in Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) for 6G wireless systems, with a focus on the design and evaluation of bistatic ISAC testbeds using channel emulation. In the webinar, she will be presenting her work on ISAC testbeds for 6G, exploring how channel emulation can bridge simulation and real-world implementation.

Dr Muhammad Asad Ullah

Dr. Muhammad Asad Ullah is a Senior Scientist at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, where he conducts research on next-generation wireless communication networks. His work focuses on analytical and simulation modeling as well as experimental measurements for evaluating the performance of non-terrestrial networks across a wide range of vertical sectors, supporting communication services for both people and smart devices. Previously, from 2018 to 2023, Dr. Asad Ullah worked with the 6G Flagship programme at the University of Oulu, Finland, where he completed his Ph.D. in Communications Engineering with distinction in 2024.

Anthony Pagès

Anthony Pages is a researcher at TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research) within the Networks department. Focusing on next-generation wireless communication, network architectures, and telecommunication innovations, Anthony is actively involved in pioneering national and European research initiatives. In his work with the Future Network Services (FNS) program, he focuses on turning advanced 6G concepts into tangible solutions by driving testing and validation across real-world field labs.
