We are delighted to announce that the YEAR (Young European Associated Researchers) network will host a 2-day training event on innovative collaboration and creative brainstorming. The event will be organized together with VITO, and he training will be given by The Forge, a Ghent University Spin-off that translates and applies scientific insights from the field of behavioural science into the real world.
The training will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on October 9-10.
Preliminary agenda:
9 October
- 12:00-13:00: Lunch
- 13:00-16:00: The Innovation Game. Qualitative insights about innovation, inspiration and entertainment, all in one game.
- Evening: Social dinner
10 October
- 09:00-12:00: Undercover Innovator. This part aims to give you tips to strengthen innovative work behavior; give insight into your own strengths and weaknesses regarding innovation based on a substantiated test; give you a framework to look at team innovation; and give you techniques to strengthen innovation in your team
- 12:00-13:00 Lunch
- 13:00-16:00: Evidence-based brainstorm. Brainstorming exercise in smaller teams.

Deadline for registration is September 14. This training has a maximum of 30 participants.
This international event brings the added value of networking among multidisciplinary Young Researchers, from the 7 YEAR members (AIT, RISE, SINTEF, TNO, Tyndall, VITO and VTT).
While YEAR does not impose age limitations, we are focused on early-stage Researchers (10 years or less experience in Research).
